How does Ultherapy PRIME
differ from Ultherapy?

With its new powerful and fast system, the Ultherapy PRIME platform is the future of nonsurgical skin lifting, delivering 10x higher processing power, elevated ergonomics and seamless workflows for aesthetics health care professionals (“HCPs”). Additionally, with a 35% larger screen and brighter, crisp images from all angles, Ultherapy PRIME offers a vivid visualisation experience for a truly personalised, safe and effective long-lasting result paired with healthier-looking skin patients can see.1,2,3,4,5

03

How is Ultherapy PRIME different
from other cosmetic procedures?

Ultherapy PRIME is the only FDA-cleared non-invasive skin lifting and tightening treatment with real-time visualisation.

The platform’s unique micro-focused ultrasound technology can target deeper skin layers than other noninvasive treatments and allows aesthetics health care professionals to target the right collagen and elastin-rich layers of the tissue at multiple depths, delivering consistent and precise energy where patients need it the most, providing a personalised, noninvasive sustained lift that can last a year or more.1-8

04

How does Ultherapy PRIME work?

Ultherapy PRIME uses advanced ultrasound technology to target the right collagen and elastin-rich layers of the tissue at multiple depths.1,2,4,5 Collagen and elastin are natural proteins that give the skin its youthful look by keeping it firm and toned. As we age, these proteins break down and skin strength and elasticity are lost as a result.9 Ultherapy PRIME’s unique mechanism of action (MOA) essentially jump-starts a process that produces fresh, new collagen to lift and tighten the skin while promoting a more youthful, healthier appearance in just one session.10,11

05

Who is a good candidate for Ultherapy PRIME?

Who is a good candidate for Ultherapy PRIME? A good candidate for Ultherapy PRIME is someone with some degree of skin laxity or sagging, to the point of skin looking, and often feeling, less firm. Loose skin under the neck and under the chin, or lines and wrinkles on the chest, are signs that a patient might be a good candidate. Typically, those in their 30s and older who have mild to moderate skin laxity are also candidates.11 However, it is important to discuss any interest or questions you may have with
an aesthetics health care professional.

06

How do I prepare for the procedure?

Ahead of your Ultherapy PRIME procedure, you will have a consultation with your aesthetics health care professional to discuss the treatment and any preparation that may be needed. On the day of treatment, your health care professional will prepare your skin before treating it with Ultherapy PRIME and answer any questions you may have. Ultherapy PRIME is a non-invasive ultrasound treatment, with minimal pre-treatment preparations needed, and no downtime post treatment.

07

What can I expect during
an Ultherapy PRIME treatment?

First, your aesthetics health care professional will schedule a consultation to assess your skin, address any concerns and discuss options to make you more comfortable during treatment and to manage any potential pain. On the day of your treatment, your health care professional will clean your skin, apply ultrasound gel and use the Ultherapy PRIME imaging technology to see below your skin’s surface and identify your collagen rich layers. This allows your health care professional to truly personalise your treatment results by delivering ultrasound energy where you need it the most. Following the treatment, which is about 30-60 minutes, depending on what areas are being treated, there are no restrictions or downtime. However, it is important to discuss any concerns you may have with your health care professional about what to expect.

08

Is there anything I can do post-procedure to help my results last longer?

Ultherapy PRIME is a long-lasting treatment with results that can last up to a year or more. Following your Ultherapy PRIME procedure, you can discuss potential options with your health care professional to prolong the results of your treatment.

09

Is Ultherapy PRIME safe?

With Ultherapy’s 95% patient satisfaction at year one, three million treatments worldwide and one of the strongest clinical bodies of evidence cited in over 120 publications, including 56 clinical studies, Ultherapy PRIME is built on a proven legacy of safe and effective results.2,4 In addition, ultrasound energy has a proven track record, with use in the field of medicine for more than 50 years.10
